About Us

PROHALCA was founded in 2001, in order to collect the waste caused by shrimp packing plants on the southern coast of Honduras, to take advantage of this raw material in the development of protein for animal consumption.

This is how we represent the main environmental mitigation measure in this fishing sector, and we are the largest producer of shrimp meal in Central America and the Caribbean.
